Taking On 2010 With an Obsession
The scene at CrossFit Obsession is off the charts. I have never been to a gym so full of so many great people and incredible athletes. It's just one of those places that draws in cool people like a magnet. Everybody is making so much insane progress and reaching incredible goals they never thought possible. What sort of things have you accomplished already? What have you done that has made you the proudest. There are a lot of great stories I am sure. Can't wait to hear them!!!!
CrossFit WOD
"Lynne"
5 rounds of....
Max Reps Body Weight Bench Press
Max Reps Pullups
CrossFit Obsession
22-16-10
Pistols
Push-Press
Double Unders.
*40 unbroken pull ups...
*Back Lever...
*49 box Jumps in a minute (when I started I probably couldnt do 20 in a minute)...
*Squat Clean 225#...
*Power Clean 215#...
*21 unbroken HSPU
Probably much more, but those are the first ones which come to mind. These accomplishments are far beyond any expectation I ever had coming in. I started Crossfit hoping to "get in shape". Mission Accomplished and then some.

Wow, just those two - L.J. and Sloan, are freakin awesome!. I haven't been here very long, but long enough to be sore pretty much every day - I guess I'm doing something. Basically what I've accomplished is relearning a lot of basic fundamental movements that I taught myself wrong - this is great - plus I've joined up with the best group of Crossfitters and trainers in Hampton Roads!

Little Sean, how many rounds of that 1-7 workout? I want to give it a try. Dustin said it was a good one.

Good job Sean, I think I might try that one later this week, maybe tomorrow. How did you end up breaking it down or did you just blow through it?
As far as what I have accomplished, I would say that I have and am still learning how to do everything correctly and not let my form break down even after fatigue has started. The big thing I always wanted to learn was how to do a muscle up and B and A had me doing them the first day I walked in the door. All of the trainers are great and thanks for pushing us everyday.
